EZC Connect app for iPhone and iPad

The EZC Connect App is your one stop shop for resources in your community! It was developed by the Empowerment Zone Coalition to connect youth living on the East Side (48213, 48214, 48215, 48224) of Detroit to resources and information directly around them. Included in the app in is the information our youth need to steer clear of drugs and alcohol, maintain their mental health and wellness, avoid the pitfalls of problem gambling and more. There is also a curated collection of events happening throughout the community they may be of interest, surveys with potential prizes, and ways to connect with friends! Our vision is that Metro Detroit will be a safe, healthy, and drug free community that values cultural diversity and assures adequate housing and social services for all.

The mission of the Empowerment Zone Coalition is to raise public awareness and to mobilize communities to improve quality of life for Detroit residents through education, health promotion, wellness, and the prevention of substance use and mental health disorders in the city of Detroit with strong emphasis on the Eastside. EZC develops new initiatives based on identified needs of the community.
